Covendor ("we", "us", "our") operates a business management platform for WhatsApp sellers and freelancers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, business name, phone number
- Business data: products, orders, invoices, inventory, delivery zones
- Payment information: transaction references and amounts (we do not store card numbers — payments are processed by Paystack)
- WhatsApp connection data: your WhatsApp Business Account ID and phone number ID (we do not store message content beyond what is needed to process orders)
- Usage data: how you interact with the dashboard and bot features
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the platform
- To process payments and manage orders on your behalf
- To power the WhatsApp AI assistant connected to your account
- To send you transactional notifications about your orders and invoices
- To improve and develop our services
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
WhatsApp and Meta Data
When you connect your WhatsApp Business number to our platform, we access your number through Meta's official Cloud API. We use this access solely to send and receive messages on your behalf for order management purposes. We do not access your personal WhatsApp account or your message history with contacts outside our platform. You can disconnect your WhatsApp number from our platform at any time from your dashboard settings.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the South Asia (Mumbai) region. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Payment processing is handled by Paystack, which is PCI-DSS compliant and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes.

Cookies
We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
